A North Carolina native, Ann moved to New York after studying art history and decorative arts in Paris. She graduated from design school in 1995 and worked with acclaimed interior designer Noel Jeffrey for five years before establishing her own design firm, Ann Davis LLC.
Her firm’s projects included: the complete restoration and decoration of a Victorian brownstone on Manhattan’s Upper East Side; the decoration of a Beaux Arts apartment on Central Park West; a loft in Soho; houses in the Hamptons; and a private jewelry store in Rockefeller Center.
In 2004, Ann married and returned home to Greensboro, NC to form Ann Legette Interiors, specializing in both traditional and modern residential interior design. She is known for her fresh, calm, and sophisticated interiors, with special emphasis on incorporating beautiful antiques with custom furnishings to achieve perfectly balanced, timeless, transitional spaces.
Residing in the South has not slowed Ann down. Her firm has completed projects in New York, Bridgehampton, Bucks County, Bermuda, John’s Island, Kiawah Island and mountain and beach homes throughout the state of North Carolina. Ann has also taken on unique assignments that include a University Chancellor’s residence, The Greensboro Country Club and several corporate offices.
